It’s week 3 in our #DazzlingDollarDIY challenge (click here to check out all the entries of my co-hosts and the ones who are playing along!) and this week’s theme was Seasons Eating. I decided to put together a Christmas dollar tablescape. Meaning everything but the large plate and runner were literally dollars a piece! If you want to see where I purchased each item, pieced it together and a mini tutorial on how I made the snowflake napkin ring check out below!
It’s a brand new week with a brand new Dazzlingdollardiy challenge! This week is Deck the Halls and any decoration for your house is acceptable! I made this Christmas shadowbox for under $10! I had this old crate that at one point I had painted blue but it was SO dinged up and missing a holding piece in the corner so it wasn’t steady enough to used as as kind of crate or tray. So I painted it a dark brown, I used a stain so some of the blue would come through and give it that weathered look
The holiday season is here and that means 2 things…Christmas decorations and having absolutely NO money after the season is over 😉 Because we all need every single dollar around this time I went about trying to find a way to get my craft on, have some cute new decorations AND do it as cheaply as possible! Brielle has Frozen themed Christmas tree in her bedroom the past 2 years but now that she’s a rambunctious 3.5 yr old I didn’t dare leave my very fragile and very expensive snowflakes in her tornado path. So I headed to the Dollar Store to see what I could come up with and I ended up making 4 different versions of ornaments for her tree and everything I used to make them came from the Dollar Store! Major plus so if these break the only thing I’m worrying about is cleaning up the glass shards rather than weeping because I’ll never be able to find those snowflakes again. This is a quick look at everything I used to make my Dollar Store Frozen ornaments so check out the details below!
I wanted some smaller centerpieces to use at my recent Mother’s Day Tea Party, take a peek at it here! so I decided to make these cute hovering teacups that look like flowers are spilling out of them! They’re so easy to make and really cheap too. Keep reading to find out how I made this!
