Girl Reindeer Party

Brielle has been begging me for a playdate with a few of her friends and when I asked her what kind she wanted she quickly replied “PINK”! I’ve seen so many amazing Rudolph the Reindeer parties this year that I thought it’d be fun to do one too but instead of the traditional red and blues I’ve been seeing I’d seriously girl it up! It reminds me of Clarice, his girlfriend. I kept my palette to light browns, pink, sage green and gold and it was the perfect little girl’s party!

Festive Dollar Store Tablescape

It’s week 3 in our #DazzlingDollarDIY challenge (click here to check out all the entries of my co-hosts and the ones who are playing along!) and this week’s theme was Seasons Eating. I decided to put together a Christmas dollar tablescape. Meaning everything but the large plate and runner were literally dollars a piece! DIY Dollar Christmas Shadowbox

I had this old crate that at one point I had painted blue but it was SO dinged up and missing a holding piece in the corner so it wasn’t steady enough to used as as kind of crate or tray. So I painted it a dark brown, I used a stain so some of the blue would come through and give it that weathered look
