Since we had the party at 2 I decided to forgo a whole lunch and just did a dessert buffet. I made the food signs from a printable I purchased on Etsy and made the crab toppers. HERE’S the post on those

I remember seeing these cute jellyfish on Pinterest but their tutorial was so much work. You had to take a plastic tablecloth, cut it into strings and then pull in certain ways to create ruffles and then you had to sew streamers together. So cute but so much work. This is a much quicker way. I got 6 medium sized paper lanterns and cut just the bottom off so it created a half dome. Then instead of doing the plastic tablecloth I found these plastic leis.
I’m making a Raggedy Ann hairpiece for my Halloween costume. Here is your tutorial. Buy a red beanie and get 2 skeins of red yarn. Poke one thread through the beanie at a time and make a knot on the inside. Repeat one billion times. Rest your cramping hands. Pick up beanie from across the room after you’ve thrown it in a fit of irritation. Resume poking one thread through beanie and making a knot on the inside. This hairpiece is going to be the death of me!
We finally finished the nursery and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out! I wanted it a little whimsical but not typical baby decor so when I settled on a woodland theme I knew I had a big project ahead of me. It’s really difficult finding baby decor that isn’t pastels or really cartoony. Plus, all the inspiration rooms I found where very heavily boy themed so I’ve been piecing this room together, little by little, over the last 5-6 months!
