Brielle’s Blessing Day

We had Brielle’s Blessing today. I was a wreck for at least 2 weeks before it trying to get everything finished, because I can’t do anything without it being way overboard. Insert eyeroll from everyone that knows me since I just can’t help it. I bought her dress online but my mom removed the sleeves and it was perfect! She looked so beautiful in it! The morning of the blessing was a mad house here. My whole family came over and helped us set up for the luncheon and my mom helped me get Brielle fed, bathed and dressed. Then we all got ready here and went to church together. There was so much hustle and bustle (and stress on my part) I felt like we were getting ready for a wedding. Oh, heaven help us when she actually gets married! šŸ˜‰ After she was blessed we had a luncheon for family and friends that were there to celebrate the occasion with us.

Activity Days: Cupcake Wars

I had my first activity back since I had Brielle. I thought it’d be a fun activity to do Cupcake Wars. I baked these cool colored cupcakes. The first round they had 10 minutes to create 3 of the yummiest cupcakes they could think of. I had a bunch of different candies, nuts and pretzels that they could use.

Gender Reveal Party

So touching on a bit of a personal note. We had struggles in the fertility department so when we finally got pregnant our families were as overjoyed as we were. We decided early on that we wanted to have them be included on the special moment when we found out what we were having. Since I can’t let any opportunity to throw a party pass me by this was a perfect time to have a gender reveal party! We had our party this afternoon and it was so fun to get together for lunch and visiting. We were also able to get all our siblings together (no small feat with 7 of them being all over the state) which contributed to how great this day was for Scott & me.

My Little Pony Party

This was the Hat that started it all. Early in July we were hanging out with Scott’s sisters and one of their kids Payton was wearing this hat. We were told that there is a new trend going around of boys loving My Little Pony and they’re called Bronies. So I was teasing Payton and asked if he wanted to come to my house and watch some episodes of My Little Pony and he freaked out! As well as 4 other nephews. I was totally joking and said I’d throw them a Little Pony Party but they got so dang excited I didn’t have the heart to tell them I was kidding. So the Pony Party was born
