I can hardly believe it’s Thanksgiving this week! We’re keeping it small and low key this year but even a small party deserves pretty things! I went with an amber and weathered green palette with lots of gold accents sprinkled throughout. I set this up for a magazine feature I did (I’ll post it next week!) and this is going to be how I do our Thanksgiving table this year. Details below!

Witches Tea
I hosted our monthly book club at my house this month and you KNOW I had to do a Halloween theme! I went with a Witches Tea and stayed with black, white and orange. I LOVE those traditional Halloween colors! We had brunch so the food was simple (all store bought minus the breakfast pizza!) so it came together quick and it was really easy finding foods in those colors too! If you want the details stick around!
Halloween Spider Party
I found this incredible web from Oriental Trading and I knew I HAD to throw a spider party! I kept everything black and white tones, I feel like there is something a little unnerving about colorless Halloween decor. It reminds me of horror books I read growing up, someone would find a corpse and the body was always described something along the lines like “skin as paper, translucent and drained of all blood. With their black eyelashes lying on their cold skin giving a startling contrast”. Geez, I LOVE Halloween!
Spooky Halloween Tablescape
My favorite time of the year has arrived! Oh Halloween, how I’ve missed you! I set up my Halloween tablescape and I’m SO feeling it this year! I wanted a cemetery feel so I incorporated lots of moss, dying flowers, mini tombstones, skulls and ravens! I thought a silver, purple and black palette would be perfect as well. If you want to see more on how I created this Halloween tablescape stick around!
