One of my favorite traditions growing up was decorating my own tree in my room. Every year my parents would take me out and I’d get to pick a few new ornaments to add to my tree. I wanted to carry on the tradition with my daughter but since 2.5 year old hands are quite inquisitive I didn’t dare let her keep a tree in her room. So I settled with putting it up in her playroom. It wasn’t hard to pick a theme, she has definitely caught the Frozen bug. She requests to watch it at least once a day and we listen to the Frozen soundtrack over and over. I’ll be SO glad when the second one comes out solely to have new material to listen to! Here are a few details in our Frozen themed playroom!
Her playroom is normally Classic Winnie the Pooh themed and I have a giant vinyl saying on this wall behind her tree. So I covered it up with wrapping paper. You’d be surprised at how hard it was to find silver and teal paper!
Gotta rep the Snowgies!
In the doorway I draped icicles and snowflakes
I was originally going to put up icy blue curtains but I found this darling paper tassel garland on Etsy instead. She customized the colors and they turned out perfectly. The shop is GlamFeteByBri
Added with some blue icicle lights and another icicle garland
Can never have too much ice and snowflakes
I made the shadowbox decoration. SO easy, if you want the PDF of the background leave a comment with your email address. All these decorations will come in handy when we transform her bedroom into Frozen!
