It’s almost National Drink Beer Day! Ok, confession. I’m not a drinker but dang it if I don’t feel let out by some of the fun holidays drinkers get! Hello, National Beer Day, Oktoberfest, St Patrick’s Day! Haha so whether you believe it’s always 5 o’ clock somewhere or this is the closest to a drink as you get…stick around to see how I made these Faux Floral Beer Decorations!
Ok, first off I KNOW this is crazy simple. Like, simple enough you really don’t need a tutorial but hey at least you can find out where I got my stuff! 😉
Start with any clear mugs. I got mine at Wal-Mart for 5.00 each
Next add some acrylic rock. If you want this exact look get the scattered yellow vase filler. I thought those looked much better than the round ones. You can also get ones called amber but they were a bit dark for my tastes. I got these at Michael’s
Also at Michael’s I got one flower bunch of fluffy white Hydrangeas. They looked the most like the froth at the top of beer
Fill your mug with the desired amount of rocks, if you want the froth more inside the mug add less and if you want the froth well above the rim add a lot of those rocks! I ended up using about a pound of rocks to create two mugs
No need for beerglasses to see how cute these will look in your house!
