Easter Tablescape

I hosted Easter Dinner this year for my family. It’s the first time in years that all my siblings have been together for Easter! It’s amazing how you can go so long without seeing them and yet just pick up right where you left off. Good natured teasing included! My entire color palette inspiration came from a plate set my mom just gave me. It’s this bright and happy pattern with blue, yellow and sage green all anchored by a cream background. I really had the majority of things already from my house but all spread out through my house. Bringing them together was tied nicely by the bright yellow flowers I bought to later plant in the flowerbeds out front!

The little chicks I purchased from Tai Pan and the candlesticks were from Michaels. The vase was just an old one from a flower arraignment that my husband had sent me years ago. This is the first time I’ve used it since yellow isn’t one I’ve been comfortable using before. I loved how cheery it made the table scape though so I think that’ll change!

The moss bunny is from At Home. The carrots are from Tai Pan

Hands up if you think Grandmas and Moms have the BEST dishes! I’ve already placed dibs on these gorgeous blue goblets of my moms. I just love them and they matched perfectly with the plates so she let me borrow them for the day. I’m not sure if they’ll find their way back home to her though…

The plate that gave me my inspiration! They make me so happy I want to put my regular plates away for the rest of spring and summer so I can use these exclusively.

Each plate had a ceramic bunny card holder from the dollar section at Target.

It was the perfect Easter full of family and great food and having a pretty tablescape was just the cherry on top!
