Witches Tea

I hosted our monthly book club at my house this month and you KNOW I had to do a Halloween theme! I went with a Witches Tea and stayed with black, white and orange. I LOVE those traditional Halloween colors! We had brunch so the food was simple (all store bought minus the breakfast pizza!) so it came together quick and it was really easy finding foods in those colors too! If you want the details stick around!

I was stuck between doing Ghosts or Witches but these witch cupcake toppers sealed the deal to go with witches. I got them from Etsy

I saw a similar decanter from Pottery Barn but I didn’t want to spend 60.00 on something I’d only be able to use a few times. So I made one. I already had the decanter and grabbed the witch hat from the Dollar Store. Make sure to look for one with wire in the brim so you can shape it

Carrots, black olives and orange peppers were our veggies. The platter is from HERE

Ranch Dip for the veggies, add chives to Dry Ranch dip and it almost tastes homemade

Napkins and forks local craft store and the cute plates were also from HERE

The milk bottles came from Oriental Trading. I spruced them up with the black straws and orange ribbon, both from a local craft store

Desserts were cupcakes, brownie bites and sugar cookies

We also had mini cinnamon rolls and breakfast pizza. You can find my recipe HERE

Fruit was cantaloupe and blueberries

I think the garland came from Target a few years ago and the paper fans came from a local craft store

This is my last Halloween party of the year and I’m really sad. We have a HUGE annual Halloween party every year, I can’t even remember the last year we didn’t have it…maybe 7 years ago? I’ve had some health issues this year and I just couldn’t take on a party of that magnitude now. I’m pretty disappointed but there’s always next year! And if you’re looking for creepy book suggestions, check out The Dead House. It’s sooo deliciously creepy!! Happy Halloween everyone!!
